On Saturday mornings check out the "Red Stick Farmers� Market", "the Main Street Market", and the "Downtown Arts Market" All 3 events are next to each other on Saturdays in downtown Baton Rouge at the new government parking garage that is located on Main Street between Fourth and Fifth Street. You can park free in the parking deck and all 3 events are located just feet away. The Main Street Market (8am-2pm) is inside the parking deck. The Red Stick Farmers' Market (8am-noon) is outside the parking deck. The Downtown Arts Market is outside the parking deck on the first Saturday of the month. In case of rain, the markets are held in the Galvez Parking Garage at 500 Main Street. Also, the new planetarium is open in Downtown Baton Rouge. It has laser shows, sky shows with stars and planets, and special large screen format shows.
