Cajun bands schedules
Clarence is looking for someone to compile information for the Cajun band shedule for the Lake Charles area. The way that it would work is for you to email me a schedule similiar to the Baton Rouge Cajun and Zydeco dance schedule.

I would then copy your email to this page. I am looking for someone who would compile as comprehensive a list as possible. This would not cost you anything and it would provide a great service for the community. From Lafayette, Take I-10 West for 65 miles
Take the 2nd Exit (Opelousas St) into Lake Charles off of I-10
Turn left on Opelousas St.
Drive about 1 mile down
KPC Hall will be on your right


Directions for the Lake Charles VFW Post 2130 hall:
located on Country Club Road, Lake Charles, La
From Lafayette go west on I-10 to Lake Charles
Take I-10 to the I-210 bypass
From I-210, take the Nelson Rd Exit.
Turn left onto Nelson Rd.
Go on Nelson To Country Club Rd.
Turn right onto Country Club Rd.
The VFW will be on your right. Not even 100 yds.


Directions for the Lake Charles Civic Center:
located at 900 Lake Shore Drive, Lake Charles, 70602
from Lafayette on I-10, head West to Lake Charles
take the Ryan St. exit
stay on Ryan St. until you get to Broad St.
take a right on Ryan St.
You will see the Civic Center.
from Texas on I-10, head east to Lake Charles
once you cross the bridge,
take the first exit as if you were going to the casino,
pass the casino and as the street curves to your right,
the Civic Center will be directly ahead of you.


Directions for the Lake Charles McNeese Burton Coliseum:
As you approach Lake Charles, LA,
take the I-210 Loop south off of I-10.
Exit onto Common Street heading south. (bad directions...there is apparently no Common street exit from I-210)
Follow Common about 5 miles
Burton Coliseum will be on the left in the middle of the prairie.
